How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. After entering your password, you will also be asked for a one-time code from an authenticator app.

What you need

An authenticator app on your phone, such as:

• Google Authenticator
• Authy
• Microsoft Authenticator
• 1Password

Enabling MFA

1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Profile
2. Scroll down to the Security section
3. Click Set up two-factor authentication
4. Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code shown, or enter the secret key manually
5. Enter the 6-digit code shown in your authenticator app to verify
6. Click Verify — MFA is now active

Signing in with MFA

After entering your password, you will be redirected to a verification page. Open your authenticator app, enter the current 6-digit code, and click Verify.

Disabling MFA

1. Go to Profile → Security
2. Click Disable two-factor authentication
3. Confirm when prompted
